Whether you are looking for date-night ideas, free things to do, or just something fun with the kids, you can’t go wrong with our list of events happening around Metro Vancouver between Nov. 4-10. Headlining this week’s picks is Music on Main’s 10th Modulus Festival.

Here are five things to do in Metro Vancouver this week:

When: Nov. 5-10

When: Nov. 8-15 at 6 p.m.

Tickets: $15 at thedancecentre.ca

Inspired by the significance of symbols in Indian philosophy, choreographer Rama Vaidyanathan has created Sannidhanam. The new work of Indian classical dance features eight dancers, including Vaidyanathan. From Delhi, Vaidyanathan is considered one of the foremost Bharatanatyam dancers of her generation, and has performed all over the world. The Dance Centre streams Sannidhanam online in partnership with Mandala Arts and Culture, which commissioned the piece.

When: Nov. 10 at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Where: St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church, 1022 Nelson St., Vancouver
