Investing in a thoughtful approach to real estate sparks record growth for Vancouver brokerage

Staying true to its roots has always been a guiding principle of rennie. While its various brokerage, developer and advisory services have facilitated it becoming one of real estate’s most highly sought full-service companies, the key to its success is consistently upholding the values founder Bob Rennie instilled in the company 46 years ago.

Rennie’s people-first approach to business means connecting with them in the places they call home, which is why its recently launched rspace in Burnaby is noteworthy. Rennie’s expanding network of rspaces across Metro Vancouver offer comfortable open concept workspaces designed with meeting booths and workstations, intended to foster a welcoming, collaborative environment for rennie’s growing realtor team to service their clients. The newest Burnaby rspace happens to be just several blocks away from where Bob Rennie opened his first office back in 1975.

“Emotionally-speaking it’s a bit of a homecoming. In terms of business, we’re very excited by this rspace — it’s the fifth we’ve launched in the past 24 months,” Zayadi says. “Burnaby is a thriving city that is continuing to experience tremendous growth. Many of our advisors and clients live here, and even though so many connections develop online these days, we think it’s important to have a physical presence in the communities we conduct business.”

Rennie has always viewed real estate as a way to build better communities and improve lives, and its internal teams work collectively with this vision in mind. “We have intelligence, technology, marketing and brand teams which support our realtors,” Zayadi says. “They work to understand emerging market insights, and in turn, this information is used to help clients achieve their goals.”

Rennie’s intentional union of relationship building with innovative technology and a data-driven approach has resulted in the company facilitating over $4 billion in real estate transactions yearly. Given that more people than ever are moving to B.C., rennie’s evolution will perpetuate. “We’ll continue to grow organically and serve more people in more communities,” Zayadi says. “But most importantly, our growth will be founded on our values of trust, knowledge and a personal touch.”
