Emaciated dogs seized by B.C. SPCA from Clearwater breeder

Animal protection officers have seized 13 starving dogs from a breeder in Clearwater.
The B.C. SPCA says the Cane Corsos were being sold for profit as puppies during the COVID pandemic. The seizure came a day after two emaciated adult dogs were surrendered to the local shelter.
“The condition of these animals was just horrific,” said Eileen Drever, the senior protection officer of the B.C. SPCA. “Many of them were extremely emaciated.
“It was one of the worst cases I have seen in my 42 years with the B.C. SPCA.”
