One dead in Vancouver house fire on New Year’s Eve
One person has died following a house fire in East Vancouver on Saturday night.
Warnock said the blaze was contained to the second-floor of the modest bungalow and one person — a 71-year-old male who was in a bedroom — died at the scene.
The other occupant of the home who called the fire in was not injured.
