Pennsylvania woman dismembered parents with chainsaw over nine days: Cops

Detectives are trying to unravel why a Pennsylvania woman allegedly shot her parents in the head and dismembered their corpses with a chainsaw.

Cops say that late Tuesday, the couple’s son — worried because he hadn’t heard from the victims since Jan. 7 — drove by their home.

Justin Beck saw the lights were out. When he returned later that night, he found his sister Verity Beck with their father’s body and called police.

Investigators found the decomposing bodies of Reid Beck, 73, and Miriam Beck, 72. A pillow with bullet holes was also located, indicating the shootings were point blank.

But it wasn’t just the bullets that caused veteran homicide detectives to wretch: The remains had been carved up with a chainsaw.
