Save the date: Khatsahlano Street Party announces 2023 lineup
The Khatsalano Street Party, one of the key community arts festivals in Vancouver, has announced its lineup for the 2023 event. As always, it’s a big list of acts from the local music scene that represent numerous genres for folks to enjoy.
With seven stages and eight acts per stage, figuring out who to see, when and where at the July 8 event is going to require some planning.
Do you check out the post-punk artistry of 1980s act Corsage, a name shrouded in mystery as they rarely perform? Or is rising soul singer Haleluya Hailu your jam? The schedule for the event, which runs from noon to 9 p.m., is posted at the Khatsalano Street Party website and you’ll want to give it a fine reading. Be sure to budget enough time to travel, as the crowds are huge and packed in tight for this event.
Now it’s time to get back to trying to choose between Yukon Blonde, Bratboy and Pink Mountaintops all playing closing sets from 8 — 9 p.m.?
The Khatsalano Street Party, which takes over a section of West Fourth Avenue in Kitsilano, will run from noon to 9 p.m. Visit khatsahlano.ca for more information.
