Spring Arts Preview: Five must-see shows in dance

This spring offers an embarrassment of riches for those looking not just for the best in contemporary dance, but also the most adventurous.

The International Dance Festival offers a plethora of cutting-edge international and local talent, and DanceHouse continues to bring daring world-class companies to town.

Ballet B.C. has two programs left in the season, and The Dance Centre hosts performances and events April 29 in honour of International Dance Day.

There is more than we could fit into this space, but in addition to the shows mentioned below, watch for the Canadian premiere of Into the Little Hill, a mix of opera and dance from Vancouver’s Astrolable Musik Theatre on May 19 and 20.
