Tragically Hip backtrack after Pierre Poilievre slam

The Tragically Hip are standing down after guitarist Paul Langlois ripped Pierre Poilievre for using one of the band’s tracks at a Conservative Party of Canada event over the weekend.

Langlois became embroiled in controversy after a follower asked him on Twitter if he was aware the group’s Fifty-Mission Cap was being played at a Poilievre rally in Hamilton on Saturday.
