Yellowjackets star Sarah Desjardins returns for second season, debuts in HBO Max series The Night Agent
This week, Sarah Desjardins will be all over screens in two series.
On Thursday, the 28-year-old Vancouver actor returns as Callie Sadecki in the locally filmed, Emmy-nominated hit Yellowjackets on Showtime/Crave. And, beginning Friday, she can be seen as the vice-president’s daughter in a new Netflix show The Night Agent.
We talked to Desjardins about life in Riverdale, what she can say about the second season of Yellowjackets, and acting her age.
Q: What kind of impact did being in the CW series Riverdale have on your life?
A: I was in Season Four. And it was an interesting time because my character Donna ended up being the villain of that season. It was quite a slow buildup, and then everything really happened for her when we were in lockdown. So everybody was watching for sure. And Riverdale fans, there’s a lot of them. The episodes that I was in started airing right before lockdown and it was definitely the most I’d ever been recognized before Yellowjackets. It’s also funny, because at the time in the show, there was a mystery happening. People would see me on the street and ask, What’s happening with Jughead? And I had to say I really can’t say anything, I’m sorry, you just have to watch.
