B.C. Amber Alert: A week later, police say kids remain ‘in imminent danger’
It’s been a week since a B.C.-wide Amber Alert was launched in the search for Aurora and Joshuah Bolton, and Surrey RCMP say investigators say they have reason “to believe that the children are in imminent danger.”
The alert went out on July 19, two days after the eight- and 10-year-olds weren’t returned to their primary caregiver.
“Police continue to have concerns for the safety and well-being of Joshuah and Aurora,” who are thought to be with their non-custodial mother, Verity Bolton, her father Robert Bolton and her partner Abraxas Glazov.
RCMP have said Glazov is an experienced outdoorsman who occasionally lives off the grid in parts of B.C., and they believe that’s what the group of five is doing.
The last sighting of the children was on July 7 at a gas station in Merritt in the company of Robert Bolton and Glazov.
