B.C. teacher loses licence for inappropriate relationship with student

A B.C. high school teacher has lost their job over an inappropriate and exploitative relationship with a student.

In a consent resolution agreement posted online Tuesday, the teacher admits to:

• Inviting the student to live in the teacher’s home for several months.

• Trying to establish a parent-child relationship.

• Telling the student the teacher loved them.
