Last suspect wanted in B.C. drug trafficking sting arrested
A Vancouver man, who was on the lam after being charged with illicit drug-related charges, has now been arrested.
A lengthy investigation by B.C.’s anti-gang unit led to more than two dozen charges against seven alleged drug traffickers, one of whom is a full-patch member of the Hells Angels’ Haney chapter. The last suspect in that group has now been arrested.
The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of B.C. said Lukas Tassone was arrested on Dec. 23. The six other men have been released and are awaiting court dates.
Charged with various drug-related offences are:
• Jonathan Lutar, 39, of Vancouver: Directing a criminal organization, trafficking a controlled substance for a criminal organization and several other drug-trafficking offences;
