Porsche billionaire divorcing his wife because she has dementia

Wolfgang Porsche has filed for divorce after his wife’s dementia-like illness led to drastic changes in her personality. 

Wolfgang is a German manager and a member of the Porsche family dynasty. His oldest brother, Ferdinand Porsche, designed the first Porsche 911. Assets of the family business are estimated to be around £18 billion (over $30 billion).

Wolfgang, 79, and his wife Claudia, 74, have been together since 2007 and were married in 2019.

A source close to the family claims Claudia’s “illness has made living together impossible for her and her husband,” Mirror says. 

“Claudia, a grandmother and former adviser to the German government, has been unable to move independently for months,” per Daily Record. “She has reportedly been living with her daughter for almost two years.”
