FUEL FOR THOUGHT

Re “Had your fill yet?” (Lorrie Goldstein, Oct. 12): I really wish the fact the price of oil and gas spiking now could stop the madness of the climate change gurus but their lobby has become so all-consuming and powerful we in North America are swiftly plunging down the road to ruin in their plotted Armageddon. It is the big boys at the UN who are controlling the huge lobby cartel that means to kill our only truly reliable source of energy strictly to facilitate their Great Global Reset scam. They have successfully silenced any environmental scientists who dared to challenge their hand-fed manipulative computer reports and certain media helped them smother the so obvious machinations at the beginning of this barbaric scheme. It is all part of the socialist Marxist movement they have successfully planted in both the U.S. and Canadian governments, although the patriots in the U.S. are relentlessly fighting back via their voice at Fox News. Canadians, as seems to be their habit now, are immersed in their own little dream world and are saying, ‘OK, walk all over me!’ Our descendants will shiver in their freezing homes, suffer humiliating depredations and go hungry, too poor to live the good life they had enjoyed for a hundred years but threw away by ignoring all the blatant signs of tyranny taking place right in front of their noses.

DEEP TROUBLE

Oil rig spill off the coast of California closing beaches, killing wildlife. Nothing yet like the BP Deepwater Horizon disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, nor the 16-year Taylor Energy uncapped broken well. Yup, real clever resource strategy — close down our landlocked, very clean oil sands, conventional oil, shut down pipelines, and develop ocean drilling, with as much chance as stopping a spill or major disaster as Trudeau has of changing his spots.
