SOAP SHAKEUP! Ingo Rademacher, Steve Burton out at ‘General Hospital’?
Got your vax on, Jax?
A real-life soap opera is playing out on ABC’s lone and iconic soap opera, General Hospital.
Veteran hunk Ingo Rademacher has been ousted from the Emmy-winning sudser, according to sources.
The Australian/German native is best known for playing Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks since 1996, but recently, the actor has been more notorious for his anti-vaccine stance on social media and off-screen — which happens to be the opposite of what the Disney-owned company is mandating across all its platforms.
At press time, Rademacher apologized in a video saying: “Cassandra, I apologize to you sincerely. I think you’re an absolute talent, and you’re very beautiful as well. I don’t think a transphobic man would say that. I think you’re absolutely gorgeous, I really do.”
FYI: Rademacher shared a tweet on his Instagram account which referred to Rachel Levine, the U.S. Assistant Secretary for Health as a “dude.”
Levine, a four-star admiral in the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, is transgender.
Emmy winner Nancy Lee Grahn slammed the Australian actor for his post, claiming Rademacher is no longer with the sudsy series.
I am aware of a transphobic post shared by a fellow General Hospital actor,” tweeted James, who plays Dr. Terry Randolph.
