A woman keyed nearly 400 vehicles at a Coquitlam dealership: RCMP

It looks like someone has a serious grudge against a Metro Vancouver car dealer.

Coquitlam RCMP say the reports of “mass car keying incidents” were between January and April. Nearly 400 vehicles were damaged and there was also damage to a business exterior, causing over $500,000 in damage overall.

Video surveillance shows a lone suspect systematically keying the vehicles in the dealership lot.

The woman is 40 to 50 years old with shoulder-length blond hair, a heavy build and is wearing glasses, gloves, a toque and a surgical mask.

“It is clear in the videos that the suspect was deliberately scratching the vehicles one by one,” said Coquitlam RCMP Cpl. Alexa Hodgins in a news release.
