Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes dumped by ABC after ‘witch hunt’

ABC is showing Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes the door after it was revealed that the on-air hosts were having an apparent romantic relationship while both still married.

According to TMZ, Robach, 49, and Holmes, 45, were both accused of “various forms of misconduct, which one source characterized as ‘a witch hunt.’”

Robach is being accused of keeping liquor in her dressing room. But one source dismissed the “ridiculous” claims saying many of the bottles came from high-ranking ABC execs.

Elsewhere, it is alleged that Robach showed up to work drunk last year after attending a College Football National Championship game. But a source tells TMZ that claim is “insane,” saying she simply had a late night.

TMZ sources add that ABC execs say the couple waited too long to declare their romance and their behaviour on set made some of their colleagues “uncomfortable.”
