B.C. Assessment: The 10 most expensive homes in the 2023 valuations
The B.C. Assessment authority has tallied property values for all homeowners in the province, and a select few are once again worth tens of millions of dollars.
The Kitsilano residence of Lululemon founder Chip Wilson again topped the you-can’t-have-it list, and two other homes on Point Grey Road also landed in the top 10 in the 2023 assessment.
B.C.’s most expensive street, Belmont Avenue, in the exclusive West Point Grey neighbourhood, features five of the top 10 properties, though one of the addresses is new to the list — thanks to a huge mansion built there last year.
Rounding out the top 10 are a private island owned by a U.S. billionaire and a house on Blanca Street, also in West Point Grey.
The rankings are mostly unchanged from the last assessment, but some property values have risen — modestly in most cases, explosively in a few.
