COVID CUTS FLIGHTS WestJet will be consolidating or cancelling up to 20% of its flights through Feb. 28 as COVID-19 staffing shortages and barriers to international travel continue to wreck havoc on airlines. Since the start of the year, WestJet has cancelled 1,211 flights, including 39 on Tuesday and 128 on Monday, reports the Calgary Herald.
