Three men in their 20s are in hospital after they were stabbed near Nelson and Granville streets on Thursday night.

Vancouver police released a few more details Friday morning, saying the men got into a verbal altercation in the west lane of Granville at Nelson just before 7:30 p.m. The argument escalated and turned violent, resulting in all three being stabbed, according to police. The men were taken to hospital by ambulance and are expected to survive.

The three men know each other, police said. The investigation is continuing. Police didn’t say whether any arrests had been made.
