Watch live tonight: How do we solve B.C.’s rental housing crunch?
Rental housing is in short supply in Metro Vancouver.
Roughly 40 per cent of Metro residents are renters, according to the 2021 Census. But during the five years ending 2021, only 24 per cent of new housing was purpose-built rental.

We have assembled a panel of housing experts to discuss this affordability challenge and potential solutions.
