Raptors vs. Clippers prop picks: Barnes cleans up on the glass
The Toronto Raptors are on a roll and take a four-game winning streak into Wednesday night’s contest against the Los Angeles Clippers.
The pre-game narrative: Toronto will look to end its six-game road trip with a 5-1 mark. The Raptors are coming off two convincing double-digit victories over the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets after taking down the West-leading Phoenix Suns.

Best bet: Barnes over 7.5 rebounds (-120)
The 20-year-old forward is enjoying the best stretch of his young career as Toronto attempts to march up the Eastern Conference standings. Barnes has been a beast and more involved offensively and there’s no reason to believe that will stop in L.A.
He has three key things working in his favour tonight: Barnes is getting plenty of minutes, this game doesn’t have blowout potential written over it and the Clippers are one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA.
The Clippers might be down their two best players in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George but that hasn’t prevented them from remaining competitive, so Barnes should continue to see a lot of run tonight as Toronto looks to end its successful road trip on a high note. He’s averaging 38.8 minutes per game in eight contests this month.
Barnes has hauled in 10-plus boards three times since a career-high 16-rebound performance to close out February. He’s averaging 8.5 rebounds this month in addition to his increased scoring production.
Los Angeles, currently in a play-in spot in the West powered by a 20-14 record at home, has been a surprise team but particularly struggles on the glass. The Clippers have the fourth-worst rebounding rate in the NBA.
The Raptors have a clear advantage in this area — they are 11th in rebounding rate and seventh in rebounds per game. In a matchup that we like to stay close, we’re all over Barnes to top the 7.5 total for the third consecutive contest.
Key stat: Barnes has eclipsed tonight’s rebounding prop of 7.5 in seven of his last nine games.
Siakam over 1.5 three-pointers made (+155): This is all about value. Siakam has drilled a pair of 3-pointers in four consecutive games and in five of his last six. The Clippers do well limiting the 3-ball and Siakam isn’t a major outside threat (he’s averaging 3.3 long balls this month) but this is worth a sprinkle at +155 odds.
Batum over 1.5 three-pointers made (-125): Sticking with 3-point props, Batum’s averaging 6.3 long balls over his last six games. He has nailed two-plus triples in four of those contests and in five of his last seven. His usage is up this month and the volume will be there tonight.
