B.C. Amber Alert: RCMP release info on new vehicle in alleged abduction
More than a week after an Amber Alert was issued for two siblings allegedly abducted by their mother, Surrey RCMP said it has new information on another vehicle that may be used by Verity Bolton, who investigators say may be living off the grid.
Bolton failed to return Aurora Bolton, 8, and Joshuah Bolton, 10, to their father — who has custody — on July 17 after a planned camping trip in the Kelowna area.
Investigators believe the children are with Bolton, her boyfriend, Abraxas Glazov, and her father, Robert Bolton, and they could be living off the grid after a well-planned abduction.
On Thursday, RCMP said Bolton and Glazov may have access to a right-hand-drive 1996 Mitsubishi Delica. The vehicle is registered to Bolton but is uninsured, and it is unclear if the vehicle has license plates.
Police also provided additional details on two trailers being used by the trio.
