Finally! Metro Vancouver weather going from cold and rainy to warm and sunny this week
Metro Vancouver’s grey skies, rain and unusually cold days will make way for the opposite by the end of this week.
According to The Weather Network meteorologist Tyler Hamilton, a high pressure system that has developed over California is starting to move north and by Thursday Metro Vancouver and southwest B.C. will see clear skies and temperatures between five and eight degrees above normal.
“We can say this with confidence because all the computer models are in high agreement this will be the first warm up of 2023,” Hamilton said.
“We haven’t had a significant stretch of above normal temperatures since the middle of January.”
Hamilton said that between Thursday and Monday, the weather will be more like what would occur in late May and early June.
