Hotel Intel: Kids are tops at Tremblant’s Sommet des Neiges

Kids are kings at Sommet des Neiges, an upbeat condo-hotel complex adjacent to the Tremblant gondola.

“We specialize in taking care of families,” said Sommet manager Nathalie Juster, who has been “den mother” to Tremblant’s junior visitors for 20 years. “Le Sommet is warm and welcoming, and we have (multiple) generations of people returning for years.”

Indoors, Sommet has a large, bright playroom for toddlers, as well as a lounge where teens can chill with table games. Outdoors, navigating winter is easy for the littlest ones because of the prime location. In addition to the gondola, the ski-in/ski-out complex is adjacent to the Snow School meeting place and the bunny hill, with its Magic Carpet lift. And Tremblant’s resort village is hopping with new dining, shopping and recreation for both kids and grown-ups, such as the indoor water park Brind’O Aquaclub.
