Letters to the editor: Has Spencer Chandra Herbert heard of B.C. Ferries?

Re: Vancouver MLA who lives in Greater Victoria defends travel expenses

I read with much disappointment, that Vancouver-West End NDP MLA Spencer Chandra Herbert was billing taxpayers for his luxe helicopter rides back and forth from Vancouver to Victoria. He may be interested to know there is a much cheaper (albeit mundane) alternative available. One that tens of thousands of ordinary British Columbians ride every week to work, their homes and for holidays. You guessed it, BC Ferries. Just a suggestion Mr. Herbert: Perhaps next time avoid the squirm-inducing questions and take the boat. You might just like it.
