Man stabbed in Surrey — two weeks after he was stabbed on SkyTrain

Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in Surrey’s Whalley neighbourhood on Sunday, just two weeks after he was attacked aboard a SkyTrain station.

RCMP said it happened in the area of King George Boulevard and Bentley Road at around 6 p.m.

Police alleged a 24-year-old man was first confronted by a group of men who arrived in a taxi, then was stabbed. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, but is in stable condition.

The motive for the stabbing is not known, said police.

This is the second time the victim has been attacked. On April 15, he was stabbed in the stomach after an altercation with another man while on board a SkyTrain heading to Surrey Central Station. The man was with his girlfriend at the time.
