More charges laid against Vancouver escort accused of killing a client in series of druggings and thefts
More charges have been laid against a 30-year-old Vancouver escort already facing a manslaughter allegation linked to a series of druggings and thefts around the Lower Mainland.
Surrey RCMP say its ongoing investigation led to charges of obstruction of justice, failing to comply with a release order, robbery and administering a stupefying or overpowering drug.
Kane had been released on $50,000 bail with court-imposed conditions last October.
She was let go again Monday under strict conditions that include: 24/7 house arrest except for a two-hour window on Friday afternoons to pick up necessities; not working in any capacity that requires her to be inside another person’s private residence; and not engaging in sex work.
Kane is accused of a series of robberies that involved drugging men in Surrey, Burnaby, Langley and Vancouver. Anyone with information is asked to reach out to local police.
