One person dead in Abbotsford, homicide detectives called in to investigate

One person was found dead in Abbotsford on Tuesday morning.

Abbotsford police say they were called shortly before 7:30 a.m.

Abbotsford police gave no details about the victim or what happened in the residence in the 31000-block of Madiera Place, but said the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team will be taking over the case.

One person has been arrested.

Anyone with information about this incident, dashcam footage or CCTV from the area are asked to please call the IHIT Infoline at 1-877-551-4448.
