Police identify man stabbed to death in Mission
Homicide police have identified the man stabbed near Lougheed Highway in Mission last week.
Mission resident Jesse Kennedy, 42, was found in the 32500-block of Lougheed Highway, near Highway 11, at around 6 p.m. last Thursday with a stab wound.
He was taken to hospital where he died.
At the time, witnesses identified a 37-year-old suspect who was arrested and remains in custody. No charges have been laid, said the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.
“We are identifying Mr. Kennedy, so that those who had recent contact with him can come forward,” said IHIT spokesman Sgt. Timothy Pierotti.
