Suspect sought after man suffers broken jaw, severed finger in bus fight: Transit Police
Metro Vancouver Transit Police are still trying to identify a suspect who got into a fight with another passenger back in May, busting a bus window and injuring a bystander during the mayhem.
On May 23 around 6 p.m., two men who didn’t know each other got into a fight as they were boarding the same bus at the Marine Drive Canada Line station in Vancouver.
Both men got off the bus after the altercation, then went at it again near SE Marine Drive and 70th Avenue. One of the men was seriously injured, suffering a broken jaw and a severed finger.
The suspect is 25 to 30 years old, six-foot-one, with a stocky build and shoulder-length light brown hair. He was wearing a green long-sleeved sweater with a white shirt under it, green shorts, white running shoes and holding a black tote bag.
“Investigators have exhausted all leads in this incident and are now requesting help in identifying the suspect,” said Transit Police Const. Amanda Steed.
