Three in custody after violent home invasion in Abbotsford Friday
A quick response to a report of a home invasion in the 33000-block of George Ferguson Way in Abbotsford netted police three arrests in the case, officers said.
Abbotsford police, in a news release, characterized the violent incident that sent one male to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries on Friday, as a targeted event. Police believe they have all suspects in the case in custody and there is no further threat to the public.
Three adult suspects have been arrested.
The case has been handed to Abbotsford police’s major crime unit, whose officers are in the early stages of an investigation and on the lookout for further evidence in the case.
Police are asking potential witnesses, including those who might have dashcam footage while travelling in the vicinity of the 33000-block of George Ferguson Way, to call them at 604-859-5225.
