Transit Alert: Service on Canada Line resumes

Service on the Canada Line has resumed after a medical emergency shut down trains between Waterfront and Oakridge stations.

TransLink provided a bus bridge to take passengers between Waterfront and Oakridge stations, while a shuttle train ran between King Edward and Waterfront Stations.

The stoppage on the north-south SkyTrain line was “suspended due to medical emergency,” at the Broadway-City Hall station says TransLink.

“Extra bus service is in place to all impacted stations and extra staff are deployed to direct customers,” Translink had said in a statement.

The Expo and Millennium Lines were not affected by the stoppage.
