Vancouver broadcaster Kuljeet Kaila dies after battle with brain cancer
Vancouver broadcaster Kuljeet Kaila has died after a battle with brain cancer.
She died Sunday.
In a statement provided to Kaila’s friend and former CTV Vancouver colleague Keri Adams, her family shared the news of the death of their beloved sister, daughter and aunt.
“She valiantly battled brain cancer with astonishing strength, grace and resilience until her very last moments, leaving us all deeply shaken by the abruptness of her departure,” it said.
“As we grapple with the overwhelming sadness of her loss, we simultaneously celebrate the extraordinary life she led, the countless battles she conquered and the enduring impact she made on this world.”
Datt, who founded Sp!ce Radio and knew Kaila when she worked there from late 2009 to 2011, remembers the warm and loving young woman who had a knack for making friends.
