Vancouver police investigating 4 stabbings, including one homicide in Killarney neighbourhood
Vancouver police are investigating a homicide in the city’s Killarney neighbourhood Friday night, one of four separate stabbings that happened over a 10-hour span.
Officers responded to a home near Boundary Road and East 45th Avenue at around 10 p.m. for a report of a stabbing.
Caleb Morin, 22, was taken to hospital where he died of his injures.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
Const. Tania Visintin, a spokesperson with the Vancouver police, said investigators are trying to determine a motive and it’s too early to say whether the homicide is related to the gang trade. It is the city’s fifth homicide of the year.
