Vancouver police seek information about armed robbery at Yaletown nightclub
Vancouver police have released security footage of a man, who investigators believe may have information about an armed robbery a Yaletown nightclub in April.
Police are asking the man, or anyone who knows him, to call police.
The investigation started on April 9, after two suspects entered the club after hours, threatened staff with a gun and knife, and stole $25,000 in cash, according to VPD.
Police said six victims had their hands zap-strapped and were forcibly confined, police said. One victim was seriously assaulted and suffered a life-altering injury.
VPD spokesperson Const. Tania Visintin said investigators have identified a number of suspects but are seeking additional evidence before charges can be recommended to Crown counsel.
