Vancouver Weather: Rain in Metro Vancouver, snowfall warning on the Coquihalla
VANCOUVER, B.C.: Monday, Nov. 22. Today’s weather is expected to be rainy, with approximately 10 to 15 mm of rain at Vancouver International Airport, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada. Winds of up to 40 km/h in the afternoon are forecast, while today’s temperature stays steady, with a high of 7 C and a low of 6 C. Tomorrow, Tuesday, looks like this week’s best bet for a dry day, with a mix of sun and clouds. Showers and rain start again on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the weather agency has issued a snowfall warning for later this afternoon on the Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Merritt. That stretch has been hit hard by rain and mudslides following last week’s storm, and remains closed to motorists. Up to 30 cm of snow could fall by Tuesday.
